Walking around Duinrell
Within the gates of Duinrell

Walking through Meijendel
Just around the corner from Duinrell lies Meijendel, part of National Park Hollandse Duinen. This vast dune and nature reserve is rich in water, wildlife and varied landscapes.
The area consists of many different mini-landscapes, shaped by elevation changes, sea winds and centuries of human influence. No matter the season, there is always something beautiful to discover during a walk through Meijendel.

A breath of fresh air in ''Hollands Duin''
Stretching from Wassenaar to the southern tip of South Holland, Hollands Duin is a narrow yet remarkably diverse dune landscape shaped by both nature and people.
Wind and water created the beaches and dunes, while generations of people cultivated small potato fields, extracted drinking water and planted forests. Every season offers a different experience. One moment you're walking through open dunes, the next through dense woodland.
Discover an oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the Randstad.
