Easy, green and relaxing: the walking routes on the Duinrell estate itself. Step outside your Duingalow or tent, head towards the forest next to the Toboggan Run and discover our beautiful dune landscape. Or start your morning with a walk along our forest fitness trail. Here you'll find 17 fun exercise stations that together create an active route of approximately 1.5 hours.

Walking through Meijendel

Just around the corner from Duinrell lies Meijendel, part of National Park Hollandse Duinen. This vast dune and nature reserve is rich in water, wildlife and varied landscapes.

The area consists of many different mini-landscapes, shaped by elevation changes, sea winds and centuries of human influence. No matter the season, there is always something beautiful to discover during a walk through Meijendel.

Stretching from Wassenaar to the southern tip of South Holland, Hollands Duin is a narrow yet remarkably diverse dune landscape shaped by both nature and people.

From Hoek van Holland to Hillegom and Noordwijk, National Park Hollandse Duinen offers 47 kilometres of coastline. Less than 4 kilometres from Duinrell lies the wide sandy beach of Wassenaarse Slag, but there are many other wonderful beaches to explore as well.
