Nostalgia in a new red jacket
The Kikker8baan is new, but immediately feels familiar. The iconic double eight shape remains and the track is mirrored. Rick the Frog rides his motorcycle in front and shows the way as you whiz smoothly through the curves through the trees. In the middle of the track, family and friends can watch from an elevated platform while you take your (first) ride.
Nostalgia in a brand-new look
The Kikker8baan theme is inspired by the rich history of Duinrell. Back in the 1940s and 1950s, the estate featured a four-kilometre motorcycle circuit where exciting cross-country races took place. Local racers from Wassenaar, including Piet Knijnenburg, also known as “The Lion of Wassenaar”, raced some of their very first competitions here. You’ll spot subtle references to this sporting history throughout the renewed Kikker8baan theme. Rick the Frog leads the ride on a motorcycle, while details around the attraction pay tribute to Duinrell’s unique motorsport past.
