Is camping your favourite thing ever, but doing the dishes not so much? This tip will make you very happy: soup in a bread roll! Buy your favourite soup in the Duinrell Superstore (or make your own) and do not forget to take home some of our delicious hard bread rolls. Cut the top of the roll open and take out the soft bread, so that you are left with a type of bowl. Heat the soup and pour it into the roll once it is finished. A delicious meal and little to no dishes, how great is that?
Another tip for those of you who do not like doing the dishes: cooking in one pan. Take this delicious recipe for four, for example.
Ingredients: 200 grams of salmon, 400 grams of pasta penne, 1 bottle of cooking cream, 1 teaspoon of mixed herbs, 1 stalk of parsley (cut), 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
This is how you do it: Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pasta. Pan-fry the salmon in 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the pan and add the pasta. Mix the cooking cream into the pasta. Sprinkle some mixed herbs and parsley on your dish and add salt and pepper to taste. Scoop the pasta onto plates (or enjoy the meal straight out of the pan) and drizzle a few more drops of olive oil over the dish to finish it off. Enjoy!
Maybe one of the most important things you might be wondering when choosing a camping site: are barbecues allowed? The answer is yes! At Duinrell, that is no problem whatsoever. You can grill delicious sausages while enjoying the delightful and refreshing open air. Holidays at their best!
Have you booked a premium Duingalow? You are in luck, because cooking in one of those is just as convenient as cooking at home. The four-burner hob, the oven/microwave combination and the dishwasher allow you to do your thing, just like you would do at home. Or even more so, because now that you are on holiday, you finally have the time to cook.
